Library of Parliament
As a small part of a large plan to organize resources before the Library of Parliament closed its doors for 10 years for restoration and maintenance, the intranet website - IntraParl - was overhauled with the goal of making access to information more intuitive.
As visual designer my responsibilities included:
Providing a visual design based on wireframes for the responsive intranet
Putting the pieces together
The wireframes were developed by a different UX team member following user interviews which included card sorting. This allowed the project team to understand how users approached the content they were looking for.
Clean and simple
Taking the lead from the interactions and annotations from the UX designer, I developed a clean set of final visual designs and assets inspired by the simplicity and beauty of the building itself.
